THE 2025 DRAFT ETHICS CODE: REVIEW, COMMENTARY, AND CONCERNS, FOR NEUROPSYCHOLOGISTS:

This presentation reviews selected sections of the 2025 draft of the revised ethics code, highlighting new features, major topics, and key concerns for neuropsychologists. It covers goals, new features, and seven types of terms (e.g., prescriptive and proscriptive). Major topics include informed consent, multiculturalism, competence, and multiple relationships. Key concerns involve test security, technology, conflicts with existing laws, and the use of ambiguous or subjective language, which are expected to create uncertainty for practicing neuropsychologists.
